Who Knew Ironing Could Be This Much Fun?

Congratulations to the 102 scuba divers who turned up bright and early to the Brighton Baths yesterday with irons and ironing boards in hand - all in the name of trying to set a new world record for extreme underwater ironing!

Although the Baths have been here since 1881, I don't know whether they have ever witnessed quite such a unique spectacle as hordes of scuba divers submerging to iron their soggy garments at the bottom of the bay!

Whilst we didn't quite have the numbers on the day, it was a lot of fun and also raised money for a fantastic cause. Brighton Baths has donated the proceeds to Project Aware -  one of our favourite charities, which dedicates itself to the conservation and preservation of our stunning marine environment.
