Some of our regular swimmers share what they love about the Baths ...

An Iconic Swimming Venue

The iconic Brighton Baths have been the home of swimming in Melbourne since 1881, and are proud to host a diverse and passionate community of swimmers.

The Brighton Baths are open to members and casual visitors alike. The Baths are the perfect venue for swimming laps, a recovery session, or simply a relaxing dip with friends and family. Boasting a large enclosed area for open water swimming, the Baths' Olympic size is ideal for timing laps, or completing 300 metre circuits.

If you are looking to improve your technique or increase your swimming distances, join one of our swim groups that run all year round, book a private lesson, or enhance your skills in a squad session run by one of our highly qualified coaches. We also have junior swim clinics for children 7 years and older which instil open water confidence, teach water safety, and empower your children in the water.

If relaxation is what you're seeking, take time out to recharge your batteries on our private boardwalk. Providing shelter from the wind and privacy from the crowds, our boardwalk creates the perfect environment for rejuvenation. Bring a book, take a stroll, enjoy the shade under our umbrellas, or soak up the sunshine.

 The Brighton Sea Baths Icebergers:

The Brighton Baths are home to the famous Brighton Sea Baths Icebergers, who swim throughout the year, come rain, hail, or shine.
