As the weather heats up, our boardwalk and sea baths become a sanctuary from the heat and crowded public beaches. You can very easily make a day of it – pack a picnic lunch or swing by the café next door, rent a kayak or stand up paddle board, embrace your inner child and playfully dive from the big blue pontoon, or enjoy a cheeky nap under the boardwalk umbrellas. Casual visitors are welcome year-round during our normal operating hours. A Casual Day Pass includes access to Victoria’s only private beach and boardwalk, iconic sea baths, full-service change rooms inclusive of shower facilities, and the option to rent a towel or locker. Get in touch with us to make a Kayak / Stand Up Paddle Board reservation or to enquire about casual rates.
Explore the local sites in and around the historic Brighton Baths via kayak or stand up paddle board. Beginners can practice within the safety of our sea baths with the ability to exit the water at any time, while more confident paddlers can venture into the open ocean and explore Port Phillip Bay. Our vessels are safe, stable and easy to use.
The Brighton Baths is very family friendly! When the weather heats up kids of all ages (and adults) will enjoy jumping from our big blue pontoon or floating around on our complimentary tyre tubes. Feel free to bring your own games and enjoy cricket on the beach or enjoy fish and chips under the shade of an umbrella.
Whether it is delighting in a relaxing day on our private beach or enjoying the simplicity of reading a good book on the boardwalk, find respite and relaxation at the Brighton Baths. The boardwalk is lined with big umbrellas, and should you need to purchase towels, sunscreen or refreshing cold drinks - all are available at the Welcome Desk.
