Mike Gregory

Swim Coach

Whilst many are hesitant to dip our toes in to water 15 degrees or below, Mike Gregory sees this as optimal swimming conditions! Mike has previously completed the Triple Crown, consisting of the English Channel (4 times!), Manhattan Island Swim and the Sampedro Straight. Mike has also been selected in the Australian Marathon Swimming Hall of Fame Honourees Class of 2020/2021. An Incredible honour that recognises swimmers that make noteworthy contributions in the sport worldwide. Despite these accomplishments, Mike still pushes himself. In 2019, he completed  what is now one of his proudest accomplishments, the Loch Ness swim. Mike has a long list of amazing achievements which now puts him in a position to pass on his extensive knowledge and experience in open water swimming. His expertise and knowledge is not limited to professionals, and he welcomes everyone with his professionalism and genuine love for bringing the best out in each swimmer he works with.

Mike has a way with people, and is so passionate about helping to bring the best out of his clients, friends and fellow swimmers. He offers group squad training at our club as well as one-on-one individual sessions to work with you on your swimming and open-water goals.

Mike currently holds his Austswim accreditation, and his incredible knowledge of what it takes to swim in the open water makes him an amazing asset to our club both professionally and personally. We are proud to have him here.
